Anecta - Renta förvärvar Hyrpoolen

Anecta has Acted as Advisor to Hyrpoolen in the Sale to Renta

Anecta has acted as financial and strategic advisor to the owners of Hyrpoolen in the sale to IK Partners’ portfolio company Renta.

Per Gustavsson and Johan Gustavsson have since the beginning been owners of Hyrpoolen and have established Hyrpoolen as a leading rental company of construction machines, scaffolding and similar equipment in the Greater Stockholm area. The operations expanded in 2017 to rental of sheds and trailers, which has contributed to continued profitable growth. Hyrpoolen has two depots in Stockholm, one in Nacka and one in Haninge, with in total more than 30 employees and annual turnover of around 70 SEKm.

Hyrpoolen fits our strategic agenda very well given the profitable operations and local business model. The Company has a strong presence in attractive parts of Stockholm and has a reputation of providing high-quality services appreciated by its customers. We are very pleased to join forces with Hyrpoolen and look forward to the journey ahead.

– Kari Aulasmaa, CEO, Renta

We have been looking for a partner for some time to support us in further developing our operations and we are happy to say that Renta is an excellent match for us. Renta shares our values and partnering with them will provide us access to a broader range of equipment and to Renta’s top-notch digital solutions. Hyrpoolen has a solid customer base, a strong reputation and a deep knowledge of the local market in southern Stockholm. I am convinced that together with Renta we will become even stronger and the preferred partner for customers in our region.

– Per Gustavsson, Owner, Hyrpoolen

Anecta Comments

This has been an exciting process with great industrial interest. We at Anecta are very impressed by what Per and Johan have achieved during their time as owners for 34 years of Hyrpoolen Hederén Maskinuthyrning in Nacka AB. Through this acquisition, Renta gets a strong foothold in Stockholm for continued expansion. We look forward to following Hyrpoolen as part of Renta.
