About the transaction

Scandinavian Office Group AB (later Ocay) acquired Kontorsvaruhuset AB, one of Sweden’s biggest players in the office supplies industry with a turnover of a little over SEK 500 million and with around 225 employees. Litorina is the main shareholder of Scandinavian Office Group and has also owned Gullbergs since summer 2012, a company with similar products to Kontorsvaruhuset but based in southern Sweden. The new business group will be one of Sweden’s leading suppliers of office supplies and consumables as well as related services for both corporate clients and the public sector. The business group will be nationwide, have a turnover of SEK 1.1 billion and around 500 employees.

Kontorsvaruhuset was developed by entrepreneur Carl Lindgren who, over a period of 20 years, has increased its turnover from SEK 17 million to SEK 530 million.

Anecta’s transaction team consisted of Johan Herslow and Niklas Wilhelmsson.

Anecta’s comments

This deal builds on our relationships and our network. When we proposed the deal to Litorina, it turned out they were working on a platform investment in office supplies, so the timing was perfect. In 2017, Carl Lindgren bought Litorina out and the group now operates under the name AllOffice.
