Anecta Translink advise IP-Agency Finland Oy in sale to BHG Group
IP-Agency is a leading online company specialising in products for sport and leisure. Their own brands are primarily sold in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, the DACH region and USA. IP-Agency has increased its annual sales by 600% over the past two years to EUR 19 million, with an EBITDA margin of over 25%. Its various webshops get around 900,000 hits each month.
Translink advised the sellers in the transaction. CEO and main owner Jouki Puurtinen is happy with the decision to hire Translink as a financial advisor:
I’m very satisfied with all the help from Translink and the resulting transaction. Without Translink, we probably would not have achieved such a mutually beneficial arrangement with BHG Group, which will enable us to continue to grow quickly in both existing and new markets. Translink managed the project in a way that enabled us to continue focussing entirely on growing our business throughout the process.
-Jouki Puurtinen, IP-Agency
Martin Edblad, Head of Strategy and M&A at BHG Group AB, comments:
IP-Agency’s development over the past three years is impressive. By becoming part of BHG, we believe IP-Agency will benefit greatly from our extensive sales channels and expertise. We’re really look forward to working with the founders and management to support the further expansion of the business.
-Martin Edblad, BHG Group AB
Translink’s transaction team consisted of Tero Nummenpää, Pontus Backlund, Fredrik Ullberg and Jusso Marttinen.
